Say Hello to Nav Seal — and Welcome to Our Blog

We will keep this one short. No step-by-step guides, no feature breakdowns, no keyboard shortcuts. Just a proper introduction.
Hello. We are Navseal.
Who We Are
Navseal is a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central consultancy. We implement, customise, and support Business Central for businesses that want to get more from their ERP system — and for businesses that are moving to BC for the first time.
We are a small team with deep expertise. That is a deliberate choice. We would rather know Business Central inside out than spread ourselves across a dozen different platforms and know none of them particularly well. BC is what we do, every day, for every client.
Our team spans Europe and beyond. We work with clients across industries — from wholesale distribution to manufacturing to professional services — and we bring the same standard of work to every engagement, regardless of size.
Why We Started This Blog
We have been in the Business Central world long enough to know that good information is not always easy to find. Documentation exists, but it does not always answer the practical questions that come up in real implementations. Forums help, but searching for answers takes time that most people do not have.
So we decided to start writing.
This blog is where we share what we know — honestly, practically, and without unnecessary jargon. Some posts will be technical, aimed at fellow BC developers and consultants. Some will be more accessible, aimed at business users and decision-makers trying to understand how BC works. Most will sit somewhere in between.
We are not writing to fill a content calendar. We are writing because we genuinely believe that a more informed BC community — partners, clients, and users alike — makes for better implementations and better outcomes. And if it helps a few people find answers faster, that is good enough for us.
What You Can Expect
We will write about the things we actually work with day to day. That means:
- Practical how-to guides for common BC tasks and features
- Explainers on BC concepts that tend to cause confusion
- Thoughts on the BC ecosystem — release waves, events, industry news
- The occasional opinion piece when we have something worth saying
We will not promise a post every week. We will promise that when we do write, it will be worth reading.
A Bit More About Us
The name NAV SEAL has roots in the history of the platform — Microsoft Dynamics NAV was the predecessor to Business Central, and the transition from NAV to BC is a journey we have been part of since the beginning. The name is a small nod to where this platform came from, even as we focus entirely on where it is going.
We are based in Tampa, Florida, with reach across North America. We have attended Directions conferences, worked on complex integrations, built custom AL extensions, and helped businesses navigate everything from go-live day to post-upgrade recovery. We have seen what good implementations look like — and what goes wrong when they are not done right.
What drives us is straightforward: we want our clients to actually use and benefit from Business Central, not just have it installed. There is a meaningful difference between the two, and closing that gap is what Navseal is here for.
Let’s Stay in Touch
If you are a Business Central user, consultant, or partner — welcome. We hope you find something useful here.
If you are a business exploring Business Central for the first time and wondering if it is the right fit, we are happy to have that conversation too.
Either way, we are glad you found us. Feel free to reach out — we are friendly, we know our stuff, and we genuinely enjoy talking about Business Central.
Which, yes, makes us exactly the kind of people you want on your side when it comes to BC.
